Iguanas

Pretty Pets® Iguana foods are formulated using plant proteins to
meet the nutritional needs of juvenile and adult iguanas. Animals maintained
on Pretty Pets grow at a steady, even rate and display beautiful coloring
throughout their lives. Multiple colors and fruit flavors make Pretty
Pets tempting even for picky eaters. These formulasare nutritionally
balanced and contain the proper 2 to 1 calcium to phosphorous ratio
needed for optimal growth and good health. Pretty Pets can be introduced
by mixing with chopped fruit or vegetables or moistened with water or
fruit juice. Juvenile Iguana food has 18% protein, 5% fat and 6% fiber.
Adult Iguana food has 12% protein, 3% fat and 9% fiber. Extra calcium
supplements are not necessary when Pretty Pets is 80% of your iguana's
food intake. Many reptiles require full spectrum lighting to properly
utilize Vitamin D3, Calcium and Phosphorous. Full spectrum lights should
be placed within 18 inches of the animal and should not be filtered
through glass.
